Does this work for leopard? I’m right there with Luke… after creating the file, I can’t get things to work. I’m already using growl and have the password saved.

Argh I just cannot get this to work. I had to create the Application Support/Quicksilver/Actions/ file myself and QS just will not fond the Tweet action. Any ideas?

irow: thanks for the help, with 3), it now works. 2) is not necessary though (and i guess growl neither, but it is very convenient)

There are few things that I had to do to get this working that aren’t mentioned in this post:

1) Install Growl (find it at versiontracker.com)
2) Remove the extension from the downloaded script (it just be just “Tweet”)
3) Use Safari to log in to Twitter, and save your login information in the keychain. The script uses the Keychain to find your login name and password.

hey there! I must be doing something wrong coz nothing happens! I bring up Quicksilver, type “d rtm”, write my task, tab, find Tweet and hit Enter.

and nothing happens!

I use a Japanese keyboard but I have the CAPS key to switch input modes along with the “kana” and “eisuu” keys flanking the space bar. It’s pretty easy to set the QS hot key to something else. The only inconvenience is when I try to type all caps.

Do you use a Japanese keyboard? I ask because I’ve never gotten past the hurdle of installing Quicksilver because it conflicts with the default IME changer [apple]+[space] that I always use. I know I can set quicksilver to something else but I haven’t done it.
