Facebook is more for real life (or pseudo-real life) social networks. Keeping in touch with friends, meeting members of the opposite sex, flirting.
The emphasis is much more on real life, local social networks.
There’s something about the FB interface that just doesn’t seem intuitive. It also gives me way too much info on friend’s activities that I don’t want to even know. Sally joined group X, etc. It also seems hard to enjoy it without a considerable network of friends.
