All I can say is: buyer beware! There’s 101 ways to lie about your appearance on the internet. Still, I think this is where video chat can help, but you’ll never really know. Even genuine pictures don’t tell the truth.

Interesting observations on the quality of traffic. However, I think the question comes down to: is Digg an advertisement or not? It’s probably valuable for the exposure more than the traffic. Once you see something on Digg it looks more respectable.
