Well, let me counter the reasons you gave:
You need to find a compatible carrier= Who says you need to?
It’s too damn expensive for what’s actually a glorified iPod nano= It ISN’T actually iPod and is actually a handphone. Who said it was an iPod, moron?
No keypad. = It’s on the touchscreen.
Touchscreen will get nasty. = Well, it IS touchscreen, or are you saying all touchscreen phone sucks because their screens will get nasty?
These unreasonoble claims seriously sucks, hands down.

its funny how people say that the iphone sucks without even owning one, i could care less if microsoft or apple see daylight tomorrow, but you have to handed to apple the iphone is well built, and dont talk about what iphone can’t do, check out what it can and your so call smart phone can’t do for example visual voice mail, where you dont have to call in and waste 10 minutes or your airtime to listen to crappy messages, i just got one and am really thinking of buying a mac now, everytime i pass by my local apple store its pack up and when i got to my local pc stores theres only 5 to 7 people there, maybe mac users know something i don’t know

Having been a total pc fan till I used a mac, and being quite rigorous with my use of smart phones blackberry, moto Q, HP iPac. I would say that bang for it’s buck the iPhone is right up there. Glass screen, 8 gig memory, runs on os X, no need for wap (it uses the real internet), plays music, you check the voice mails you wish, camera, a really smart keyboard, it has a normal screen… and a wide screen, it turns off the screen when it get close to you ear, and it will seamlessly integrate with my mac. Sounds good to me!

I should ad in some profanity to fit in.

You obviously don’t know jack about quality phones.
The iphone is great but it was just introduced too late.
2 MP cams have been out way before this hit….Its processing speeds are quick and it looks good but thats about it.
You say that apple created this for user friendliness yet you have to use both hands for alot of its uses. Another thing you are right about is that alot of people are confused when using the iphone….simply because it is a confusing phone…..I’ve been using Cellphones from all around the world for years and the iphone, i’m afraid came straight from the stone age. I bought one for shitz and giggles.. You made a comment about the Nokia N95 calling it shitty and overpriced…Have you even used one? It’s a less then a hundred bones more. If you have you would’ve realized it’s user friendliness and alot of it’s Powerful features. .....3G UMTS HSDPA....Video calling…..Internet Telephony(something you probably don’t even know nothin about….5MP Carl Zeiss .installed maps GPS with voiced turns….TV link for video viewing or video gaming, video callin’....10x digital zoom….real internet browsing….the best speakerphone and speakers…......3.5mm headset jack …..Video Recording 30fps….Printing capable…excellent audio quality speakers(the best i’ve heard from)...and oh…did I mention it also comes unlocked? hahaa…..
I’m not tryin’ to diss the iphone…..but I’ve had phones years ago that’s better…

Do you really have to go to iTunes to activate it?.....Soooo Sad!
stick to the ipod and get a Nokia.
