iPhone Sucks

Sorry to break the news folks but the iPhone sucks on so many levels that I can’t understand the hype. Japan’s had better phones for years. PDA features, music, you name it. What’s more you don’t have to donate a body organ to buy one.
Let me break it down for you why it wont be the smash hit of 2007. – You need to find a compatible carrier – It’s too damn expensive for what’s actually a glorified iPod nano – No keypad. – Touchscreen will get nasty. – Hardware will suck and have defects well into 2008
You know Apple’s track record. That phone’s going to be covered in a mess of fingerprints and be scratched up like hell. All for a price of $500 or more? No thanks. Keep the phone.

do you know what the iphone is made of? Is it the same material as the ipod? you might want to find that out before you think of scratchers.

The video iPod is their biggest selling product in terms of revenue (pricing x units) and look how easily it scratches. I’m hoping Apple will prove me wrong but judging from the shine it gives off it’s probably not the same material as say what covers Palm screens. We’ll see what it’s made of later in the year.

So you know jack shit about it, but you know it will have defects, and regardless of the fact that it has a keyboard, you say it has no keyboard.
It is going to have exclusive carriers, but you say you have to find a compatible carrier.
Japan has had better phones, have they? I live in Edmonton, Alberta. Can you point me at the local dealer for Japanese phones? Thanks.
And “smart phones” easily can and will run you over 500 hundred dollars. Is this a somehow cheaper 500 dollars than Apple’s 500 dollars?

Well, i really loved the iphone after i saw the video on apple.com.

how the heck can you tell me that japan got better phones, dude a phone with a magnetic credit card glue to the back battery cover is not really a break through in tecnology, blah blah blah, everyone outhere can name something better than the iphone, but i dont see them making money, now let me give you some real facts apple made over 10 billion dollars on the stock market in one day from $85 to $97 almost $98 just by anouncing the freaking thing, most small cell companies dont even cost that much, do the math they sold 5 GB ipod in 2000 the size of VCR and the could not keep enough on the shelf for $499, so if you think they wont be able to sell iphones your dead wrong

Have you actually seen and touched one? I have had Japaneese phones and use a Razr because I like the feel of it. Before I had my first Razr, the last phone I owneed was a Sony P800. It was cool at the time, but I didn’t like it because it was too big. Treo and Blackberry are too big too. The iPhone is the coolest personal tech device I can remember and I bought my first cell phone in 1984. I have an iPod I don’t use much and I bought the first version of the Reo MP3 player and regretfully, stock in Diamond (Reo was the MP3 market leader before iPod).
If Apple can shrink the iPhone, like they did the iPod, it’s game over for the Japanese, Finnish and Swedish cell phone manufactures.
I did buy one of the first VHS, CD, DVD and Blueray players, I but didn’t buy a Betamax because an Japanese engineer at JVC told me it had to many moving parts, shortly before they released VHS.
Even the Japanese have to admire the iPhone’s evolutionary brilliance.

I can’t believe no one has mentioned the T-mobile MDA!! iphone is similar to that phone but so much less in many regards. The MDA has a touch screen for everything as well but with the addition of a slide out full qwerty keyboard. It also has mni SD expansion slot and you can easily fing 4gb cards and I’m sure 8 and more are out there or will arrive. It can play mp3s and all that no problem. It even has WIFI, does iphone have that?? More importantly, there is a ton more software for it’s windows mobile platform that iphone will ever have, not saying it’s all good…
Either way, I’m just surprised everyone is talking about japanese phones when we already have great iphone beating competitors available.

I was waiting for someone to compare it to my T-Mobile MDA. When I first heard about the phone I was told that it is the “most advanced thing out there”. But when I look at it, it is not as functional as my MDA.
Mine has wifi b/g, camera, real-time full internet, email, touch screen, etc. like the iPhone – but I can also install Pocket PC / Windows Mobile applications on it. So it also functions as my GPS because of the built-in Bluetooth.

iPhone sucks! The lemmings are bowing before the “paradigm shift” in cellular phone technology:
1) “wow, google maps!”-like every other PDA/phone
2)”wow, video and mp3 on your phone”-not just every PDA/phone, but practically every other non-PDA phone as well
3)”wow, internet!”-EDGE only, so have fun with slow internet and not being able to use the internet while on a call while the guy w/ a 3G PDA/phone, ala Blackjack or Treo is looking up directions on the same google maps program as on iphone or windows live search and telling his friends on the phone where to go all at the same time
4)”wow! touchscreen”-oh, you mean like windows mobile, symbian and palm os? but that many of them also have a keyboard, hidden or not, which drastically decrease time spent typing.
5)”wow…apple OS system on a phone!”-nice, closed system that doesnt allow for 3rd party softwares, unlike WM5/6 and palm and symbian

Hmmmm…the iphone. Another gimmick to suck money out of the wallets of the desperate, hipster, brand worshiping yuppy. I can already see the loser crowd reminiscent of the dork in the Apple commercials running around with their stupid iphone and thinking they are on a whole new different level because they are part of the “iLife”. Well…if the “iLosers” are willing to shell out ridiculous money for an average phone and make Jobs even richer just so that their LOSER friends drool over this thing, oh well…let ‘em.
I wouldn’t buy an Apple product if my life depended on it. Steve Jobs ensured that by torturing me with the insanely stupid, not to mention misleading, Mac commercials.

What about the Glofiish M700… this looks to be a pretty cool device at the $500 price point doing everything the iPhone does and more. I bought an 8125 a while back and it sucked…I am back on a regular old cell phone just waiting for something… not the iPhone though

but hey its just my primary thoughts id rather see it with my own eyes.
im just fine with my own cellphone right now which is pretty old (9 months old, ancient now huh) and im fine with that. I dought im gonna get an expensive $500 cellphone to carry around wherever i go anyway, seems alot of people miss that point

OMG I JUST GOT MY IPHONE!!!! OMG ITS SOOOOO well alright. i had it for two hours and im getting bored. its just collecting dust on my table right now. When i first opened the box, i got that apple feeling. you know the feeling when you open a new ipod box. it looks so clean and shiny and has that simple modern minimalistic look to it. you take it out it feels so cool this large rectangular metal device with smooth round edges, sleek. you turn it on the apple logo appears. i made my first call with it. i couldnt believe how fun it is to make calls. i tried the internet. kinda slow. took five minutes to start the guitar video from you tube. added contacts easily. hard to type with fat fingers like mine. its just so hard to control. it will take you months to get it right. even deleting is a bitch. you have to like slide the item to the right to make the delete button appear and try pressing the tiny button. the keys are small and i tend to press multiple keys at once. it collects the oils from your hand easily. itll probably scratch if you leave it unprotected in your pocket. after a while putting a large rectangular oblect to your face makes you look stupid and feels weird. 8gb is not enough for my music. it takes forever to navigate. its ten times harder than the clickwheel. time to sell mine on ebay. id prefer my razr over this piece of advanced shit.

hey why am i complaining. ive made a profit of 500,000 in my life, just from apple stock. i just bought more shares the other week. keep the iphone coming. you know what, disregard my last comment, i was high. buy an iphone, or better yet two iphones. and don’t forget your kids. and parents, friends, relatives. oh yeah and macbook pros are cool too. buy one for everyone in your household. and dont forget your mac pros. go buy a dozen of those too. you wont regret it

the iphone geeks remind me of the star wars geeks camped out waiting for the grand arrival of thier savior, get a freakin’ life, you bunch of loosers, it’s an overpriced gadget phone. I dread going to work next week wondering how long it will take before I run into some pin head geek talking proudly about his ipod purchase like he just found the cure for cancer. I’ll have a hard time not wanting to shove it down his throat and then wanting to see if the touch screen can still work by punching him in the stomach, lol.

Who really needs all that crap on their phone?? Surf the Internet? Who can see that small print? I know, the ad shows someone reading the newspaper, but after they zoom in, you only get about two sentences of readable print. I can get a phone, a camera and an MP3 for much less than $500. Go ahead, waste your money on bells and whistles. I’d rather keep my money in my pocket.

I have never understood the draw to apple products. They only work the way apple wants them to. ( until intel chip macs ). everything iphone can do treo can do better 3 years ago. Killer apps skyrocketed the pc market, same will be true of phones.

I have a Treo and an iPhone. Everyone is right, The Treo can do more, but it still sucks!!!! I hate the thing. The iPhone isn’t perfect but what it can do is done waayyyyyy better than the Treo or any other phone I’ve used. I can’t wait to throw that piece of crap Treo out of the window. And as far as the price goes….ALL SMART PHONES COST TOO MUCH!!!!! My TREO cost $600 bucks when I bought it and the new Treos still cost that much! Go to Palms sight if you don’t believe me….oh and trying to watch a movie or play songs on a Treo…AWFUL!! For a first entry into the cellphone business (regardless of the fact that it’s Apple) the device is good. I’m sure their future devices will be even better. I not trying to talk trash or jump on Apple’s jock. This is just my opinion after owning several smart phones. The iPhone is good considering it’s a rookie in the cell phone industry. If you don’t like just don’t buy it, but don’t act like it’s not a contender because then you just sound ignorant.

Iphone..hmmmm..The one I had this weekend is nothing more then an Ipod with Wifi. The phone service worked when it felt like working. I was able to get 2 calls to go through on Saturday and one of them was dropped after 5 minutes. And I live in the NY Metro area! The Wifi on the other hand is fast and nice. This thing is handicrapped by the horrible network they decided to go with. But then again you could just buy and Ipod and a regular cell phone and save about $300 bucks..This thing is cool, but for about like 15 minutes.

You trendy people have wasted your money and bought into a consumer culture where anyone can slap an “i” before the name of their newest product, regardless of its quality, and make a ton of cash from gullible, hype-loving, pretentious hipster weenies like you. There’s a plastic cup sitting beside me, I think I’ll call it the iCup and sell it for $699; after all, if it costs more than the iPhone, it just has to be better, right? Then I’ll make people wait in line for 36 hours instead of 18, because not only does my iCup send emails and transmit music into your brain stem, it also contains the cure for cancer.

Apple haters are a funny bunch. Complain, whine, complain about how they can’t afford anything Apple sells. Ok for them to camp out for days just to get an Xbox or Playstation, to them that’s “normal”. I heard the same kind of FUD when the iPod first appeared and look what it’s done to our way of listening and buying our music. It’s turned the industry upside down. If you think the iPhone is a piece of crap, don’t buy one. If you think it’s overpriced, present some logical information to justify it and let us know what you think the price should be. Do you guys go around asking people to justify why they drive a BMW instead of a Chevy? If you guys hate Apple so much that you can’t see what they have brought to the table with the iPhone, than YOU are the loser. The iPhone is far from perfect but it IS going to change the industry. It’s already happening. Don’t you guys get it? It’s not just a phone, it’s a computer in your hands. Try one out before you bash it.

I just bought a new iPhone and am very disappointed. I have a MacBook Pro, which is awesome and a 80 GB iPod. I am a big apple fan and couldn’t wait the get my hands on this new piece of awesomeness. Boy was I wrong. I guess all the hype was just hype. I couldn’t believe that it didn’t even have basic functions that are on free phones.
I am going to try to return it today or eBay it. How can a phone that is suppose to “revolutionize” the market lack so many basic features like GPS, Video recording, MMS, 3G, 3rd party applications (yeah, I heard about the Web 2.0 apps, but what about multitasking and working offline. Besides Web 2.0 works on Windows Mobile too.)
Also, I can’t believe you can’t work with Office docs (Excel, Word, PPT) or Adobe flash, or PDF’s. Or corporate email.
When I heard Apple say that this phone was “5 years ahead of anything out there” I thought it must be one hella cool phone. Now, I just think that there must be some sort of nuclear holocaust in the next 3-4 years, so that 5 years from now this over-hyped piece of crap will be cutting edge.

It’s a phone all you haters get over it! If people want to buy an iPhone they have a right too. Just because you can’t afford one or don’t like it, does not mean the rest of America should follow your lead. Some of us do not use our phone to take videos. Most iPhone owners like to use real camcorders for that. No GPS….who the hell is walking down the street using a GPS system?..and you call us geeks. Use the GPS in your car fool. No removeable battery…when was the last time needed to replace a battery in your iPod….ummmmmm..never? If we’re going to have this conversation let’s get real here. Unfortunately, Rip Ragged, you failed to mention anything worth noting at all. You didn’t post one fact and it disgusts me as your ego skyrocketed due to rewarding yourself on a victorious moment.
Your bias toward this device is just shy of poor credentials and lack of reasoning. Your meaning to tell me because you read a positive review off of an apple iPod based site that the article alone contributes to facts and truth? Sorry, you’re ignorant and completely misguided.
As for your shares, that means nothing in terms of factual evidence as to the quality of an iPhone. Consumers have pretty wide variables as to why they buy Apple products, and they luckily got off on teenage trends-hill to get items they have no comparative knowledge of.
Japan has had very detailed and high quality internet phones for years, and whilst your assuming thats an opinion, you might want to do a little bit of in-depth reading. Now your thinking “If they have better phones, why doesn’t everyone have one?”- Because your naive and being clueless is how Apple gets paid (they prey you stay ignorant). However, they have great advertising, word of mouth, and are American. Imagine that, a US based company selling well in the US!
Fact: You’ll pay that extra dollar for a bigger name regardless of what bang for the buck. What confuses me though, is your general approach to defending a company with a product that could easily be put obsolete within a month time frame by a random small business in Japan.
Astonishing, really, but having a blog (yours) devoted solely to being a fanboy doesn’t strike me as to the irony. You bash Microsoft for stealing and being a knockoff of Mac OS’, but fail to comprehend how.

well i don’t think it is worth 600. I travel about 2 weeks a month, and I don’t think iphone can offer me what my blackberry does. From what I experience speed of internet is much slower, no GPS. I am sure it is a solid product, Apple is famous for that, however I don’t think it is innovative, thumbs down from me.

Oh, I thought I’d point out something:
The BlackBerry 8800 Series has GPS, BlackBerry Maps, a multi-media player, expandable memory, Voice-Activated Dialing and the trackball navigation, email and text messaging (SMS and MMS), instant messaging, organizer, web browser, and your usual advanced phone features. Hmm. If it were me, I’d go for the Blackberry without looking back.
I find it funny how the iPhone is so behind everything else, but Apple claims it’s “5 years ahead”.

I heard they said they invented OS X… really? It’s a UNIX box with some pretty GUI on top of it. Woah… Mac users think they are so superior than any other PC users! That’s why they only have 5% of the PC markets…

I thought maybe you had some mental deficiency which resulted in your poor spelling or inability to use proper grammar. I then read the part where you said you were typing your entry on the iPhone. Now I understand why you can’t spell correctly; it’s the ridiculously unusable keyboard. I was also curious about your egregious oversight of proper punctuation, but now I understand it’s because the period is inconveniently located on a different screen. Perhaps retards, such as yourself, would be better suited with a conveniently located “LOL”, “ROTFL”, “I LOVE APPLE” key.

I agree with Avery. For a first effort, it’s okay. Every piece of technology has its shortcomings at first. I’m not going to get one because I just don’t want or need it. There’s no need to get so worked up over a damn cell phone.

Well i bought into the hype and got an iPhone… It’s crap. I will be taking it back on Tuesday, One of the worst phones ive owned.
I think ill wait for the miniOne. Thats a way better phone than crApple iPhone.

iPhone, iPhone, iPhone… Okay, so it’s slick and it’s new and it wears the “i” badge so we already know it’s going to sell. Still, I think of it as much more of an expensive toy than an actual practical smartphone. About the only things I’ve seen so far that really sets it apart is the multitouch display and being able to select the voicemail you want to listen to.
I actually agree with those who mention the T-Mobile MDA as a more fully functional alternative, but before you say that T-Mobile invented it, take a look at the HTC TyTn. T-Mo doesn’t make their own phones, they take phones other people are making and brand them with the T-mobile logo and their own special name (i.e. T-Mobile Dash = HTC Excalibur). Personally, I think the TyTn (MDA) is a little large for my tastes. Sure I like the keyboard and touchscreen, the camera is great and it’s generally a great phone, but it’s so freaking huge! Like always, ups and downs. I found that the HTC Excalibur was much more to my tastes (although I’ve learned to be careful around Blackberry users as they tend to drool on it). Smaller, lighter, and still with almost the same array of functions and features as the TyTn, I really didn’t think much of the Excalibur when I first saw it online, up until I actually saw it in person, and then I fell in love.
I wholeheartedly agree that at some point in the future the iPhone may end up with features and stability that will make it a product to be reckoned with. Right now, however, it’s just not up to snuff.
I refuse to be limited to one service provider so that they can set the price to whatever they want it to be. I also like to be able to modify my phone myself and add and remove applications as I like (for example I have a choice of many media players for my phone and am not limited to docking it to itunes to transfer music to it). , something I don’t think the iPhone will ever let people do. The touch screen is nice and all, but I opted for a phone without one specifically because always having a smudgy screen can be so darn irritating.
It’s a nice toy, and it will surely sell a ton due to the apple marketing machine, but that’s just what it is right now, a toy.
I actually was offered a free iPhone recently which I said a respectful no to. I was met with quite the surprised reaction, “EVERYONE wants an iPhone!”. I explained the feature set of my current phone and that the iPhone would just end up on eBay and they agreed that they would rather give it to someone who would actually appreciate and use it.

Does anyone take in account how terrible Cingular, Bellsouth, uh AT&T whatever u call it’s network is. Oversold, and lowly rated by Consumer Reports. What good is Iphone if you can’t use it. Only 28 more days till I can change providers. No phone worth it.

I have to agree with the one who said that the iPhone is a glorified iPod nano, but not completely. Yes, the iPhone has all of the features of a smartphone and then some (like the fact that it runs OS X). But we all know that the main thing that the iPhone will be used for is music and videos. Honestly, I don’t know why someone would go and spend $500-$600 on an iPhone just so they can watch videos and listen to music. If you have no intention of using the product to its fullest, then just stick to your laptop and iPod (or, if you were a fool, Zune)
By the way, if someone were to buy me an iPhone, I would accept it of course, but I wouldn’t plan on switching to Cingular/AT&T. I would in fact be one of those people who uses it primarily for music and videos, but I would also utilize the Wi-Fi on it so i could mooch off of other people’s networks.

I own an iphone. I stopped reading these idiotic posts close to the top. Here is the deal… I make around seventy grand a year. Not that much compared to the rich fucks in this country, and my state-Texas. With that said, the iphone is nice to have. Yes, I paid six hundred bux for it, but it is cool. I don’t give a shit about all you fucks saying your gadget mumbo jumbo. I like it. I also get a lot of attention with it, that i’m sure all y’all gadget fucks have never gotten. So, if you can’t afford it, shut the fuck up and go ask mommy for the money. You know you want it! I will say that the network has been a little slow, but i’m not dure how to use it yet. I dig it though. I got a blow job from a chic the other night from a conversation started from mr having the iphone. You gadget freaks would pay six hundred for that!!!! HMMMMMMMM!!!???????

IMO, if you use a cell phone of ANY kind, you’re a tool. I’m 21, and have no need for a cell phone. I hate people calling me while driving in my car. I hate them calling me during class. I hate them calling me when I’m working on something or having fun. I hate people calling me when I just feel like relaxing. Why the fuck would I want people calling me on a portable phone throughout the day when I can have them leave a message on my answering machine at home and return their call later?
My generation really does consist of tools.

Brass, in some respects, I agree with you. You’re young, likely don’t have much responsibility and just don’t need a cell phone. I held out on getting one until I absolutely needed it for just that reason. I do, however think that you might need to take a look at the functions on most cell phones such as mute, silent, or the ever-powerful “off”. While being a slave to the phone would indeed make you a tool, I know a lot of people who use the phone to improve their lives and save themselves time and effort, which would mean the phone is the tool. Use the phone, don’t let it use you.
I now have a job which requires me to have one (which means they pay for it), and a smartphone is also a requirement. Instead of being a hindrance, the phone actually makes my job a lot easier and more convenient and saves me time that I can use for my personal life. It’s also a fun thing to have for many reasons, like playing Quake III mobile while waiting for a flight (try that one iPhone).
Aside from that, having one nice small device that can get and send email from multiple accounts, sign me into IM, play any media file I want (with a simple drag and drop to get it on the device), capture pictures and video, edit word, excel or powerpoint files, surf the web, and get me instant directions to where I want to go on the fly when I’m in an unfamiliar city is pretty useful.
To answer Chris, no, I wouldn’t pay 600$ for a bl**job, nor do I need a flashy toy to attract the opposite sex. If you need a prop to get your foot in the door, well, good luck with that. Honestly the kind of trend-whore that would be wooed by any “hot” item like the iPhone really isn’t someone I’d want to waste my time on. If it makes you happy, then that should be all the reason you need and more power to you.
I just laugh that the Apple marketing machine has managed to tag the word “revolutionary” to the thing. I agree that there are indeed a FEW innovative and potentially “revolutionary” features on the iPhone, but as a whole, the device actually falls far behind the mobile power device pack. Most of those buying them who are really “wowed” have never owned or even used a smartphone, those who have are all blogging the same thing “nice toy, I like some of the features, but it doesn’t do enough, or do many things well enough”.

I respect what all of you have to say and I agree about some of the shortcomings of this phone, but I have one and it is great. Sure the network is average (my area has great coverage) and I wish it had video and games, but what people forget is that this phone can be updated. I expect updates in the future and I even read an article about how a bunch of new apps for the iphone is coming. I can’t wait! Also many people forget that it is the ipod functionality that sells the iphone. Itunes and the ipod has revolutionized the mp3 industry and with what other phone can you watch a movie in widescreen on a plane or in a car with no pixelation and pauses. I do love the wifi as it is crazy fast. Youtube I would have to say is meant just for wifi because it sucks with edge. The mail works great. The google maps are cool especially in satellite mode or with traffic mode on. The picture is clearer than any computer I have ever seen. My favorite feature is the seamless quick transitions between programs. I hate how people come on here and just bash this device when it is clearly an amazing device. Most of the complaints have been about costs, but what about all the other smartphones that on top of the cost of the phone also has a separate and more expensive data plan. Sure the iphone has its shortcomings but name one device that doesn’t. Personally for my needs it is perfect and it was well worth my money.

I’ve owned many a cell phone, and I just recently got rid of my Blackberry Pearl. It was (is) a great phone, and I loved the fact that I could check my gMail account, use a third party bluetooth GPS, SMS pictures, etc. It’s a great phone and has saved me on many occasions. But my wife let me get an iPhone, and I’ve just had a ton of fun with it. For me, the UI is great, simple, uncluttered. The keyboard (again for me) has been easy to get around, and I absolutely have become addicted to the web browsing experience both on Edge (yes, it’s slow) and Wi-Fi (which is pretty fast). The screen is unbelievably beautiful, and video and photographs are stunning. I have a job where I need the data plan, and while I’ll miss the Blackberry, the features that the iPhone doesn’t have just simply do not affect the way I work or communicate. Apple hasn’t changed anything with the iPhone; they HAVE raised the bar, however, on what an experience on a cell phone should (could) be. Again, it’s fun to use, and I’ve never said that about any of the cell phones I’ve owned before…even my Blackberry (which is highly functional and thoughtfully put together). To each their own.

Anyway. i rest my case with the fact that iPhones are cool, but there are better products out there. And weve all become so dependant on owning all the newest technology, even though itll be obsolete within the next 6 months or so.

My Helio Ocean is far better than the gayass iphone the iphone doesnt even have games and apple could have made it worth $600 dollars but they chose to make it a ripoff and show off its touch screen they are also are sucking people into buying it i used my friends iphone (we traded) and i came back and said he wanted to get my ocean when i had had his phone it was terrible, the lock hardly worked cause it was playing songs in my pocket and i had to turn it off every once in a while the only people that would buy it are geeks that want to look like they are the shit and want to be cool
and any dumbass that says that i am to poor to buy one i had enough to switch services to helio and $600 dollars isnt really that much money a crappy used car is about $2000

All you people who are talking shit about the iphone are complete dumbasses. I don’t know if you have realized yet but apple designed this phone to make it easy to use. If they wanted to pack features into it they could have but that isn’t the design they were going after. I have one and what I like about it is the simplicity behind it. Anybody will be able to use the iphone unlike the other phones that are ridden with so many features people are confused about how to use them. I had an att 8525 and it is a bulky piece of shit ridden with crap I don’t need. The N95 I have seen in action is shitty and overpriced for what you get. Blackberrys and Treos are unique in their own way so they shouldn’t be compared to the iphone. The only phone that I believe compares is the HTC Touch which is a nice phone, because of its simplicity, but just seems like it was rushed a little to get it out. If I wanted a phone with tons of features that just slows the phone until it takes an hour to run a program I wouldn’t have bought an iphone. I just wanted to combine my whole itunes library with my phone and that’s what the iphone does and it does it well. Actually every feature the iphone has it does extremely well. That’s what Apple was aiming at when they created the iphone.

Having been a total pc fan till I used a mac, and being quite rigorous with my use of smart phones blackberry, moto Q, HP iPac. I would say that bang for it’s buck the iPhone is right up there. Glass screen, 8 gig memory, runs on os X, no need for wap (it uses the real internet), plays music, you check the voice mails you wish, camera, a really smart keyboard, it has a normal screen… and a wide screen, it turns off the screen when it get close to you ear, and it will seamlessly integrate with my mac. Sounds good to me!

its funny how people say that the iphone sucks without even owning one, i could care less if microsoft or apple see daylight tomorrow, but you have to handed to apple the iphone is well built, and dont talk about what iphone can’t do, check out what it can and your so call smart phone can’t do for example visual voice mail, where you dont have to call in and waste 10 minutes or your airtime to listen to crappy messages, i just got one and am really thinking of buying a mac now, everytime i pass by my local apple store its pack up and when i got to my local pc stores theres only 5 to 7 people there, maybe mac users know something i don’t know
