It was my fault for blind Digging but I just don’t understand why there’s no warning and why they suddenly take issue with my actions (been doing it for a couple weeks).

Oh well. I got my account unbanned so I’ll be submitting some stuff again. Still, the time is ripe for a social media site done right.

Haha. Must be an acceptable activity as far as they’re concerned. Maybe we can all create a lovey dovey domain for Digg and then use that to redirect traffic to us! I never realized how bad Digg is with criticism.

The Digg All button diggs all your friend’s submitted stories with one click. I can definitely understand why Digg wouldn’t like this, just can’t understand why they don’t throttle it or give a warning.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s any dirty stuff going on behind the scenes at Digg. I think it’s obvious that there’s some kind of censorship going on.

Yep you nailed it on the head. In fact digg is actually the ones hiding Osama Bin Laden right now.. They also blew up the USS Cole, and Are the reason we invaded Iraq.

In the Digg comments for this article, self-proclaimed Digg bury brigade member Canewediggit (who should have been banned himself for “blind burying” and other nastiness) is busy gloating that Digg is finally “doing something about blind digging.” The very fact that Digg continues to tolerate Canewediggit just shows what a cesspool Digg truly is.

1389 got banned PERMANENTLY for writing comments pointing out just how easy it is for Digg admins, employees, and owners to engage in blogola/Diggola and every other imaginable scam without anybody being the wiser. There are no audit trails on anything that Digg is doing, including their ability to bury or promote stories, delete comments, or disable user IDs. They can do whatever they like and pass it all off as the “democratic” votes of the Digg user base, which is total and utter hogwash.

1389 is well known to be an antijihadist conservative. Many others who dugg 1389’s submissions or who made comments in support of 1389’s opinions have been banned recently, again with no explanation whatsoever.

One user, afghanwhiggle, claimed to work for Digg in a thread several months ago:

1389 gives it upwards of fifty-fifty odds that jihadist-sympathizers (or outright jihadists) have compromised Digg’s staff, so as to suppress stories that draw any suspicion to Islam in general, and jihadists in particular. DHS, are you listening?

Well, I think I’ll take a break from Digg before I even think about asking for reinstatement. I’ll check out the other stuff for a while. Plime’s shaping up I suppose. It’s amazing how little real competition they have in this space.
