OK, maybe I have lame taste, but not a single vote? My conclusion: I need to cultivate "friends" on Digg. If true, Digg success isn't about buying votes but it's still not just about good content. I agree that you can buy Diggs but you can't buy quality. I've also seen a lot of "front page material" wither away because it was submitted wrong. This is actually something that can be done as a service (although it probably goes against some kind of TOS). If you're about to unleash great content on the web and want to make sure it gets the best possible chance without any dirty tactics have a high ranking Digg user with a good success ratio write the submission. AS I've learned, however, a front-page article that actually captures the interest of Diggers is invaluable for backlinks and exposure to that demographic.
