I’m curious what he means by saying phi patterns within color and luminosity. Do they step up in a phi ratio? “Phi-distance” alone doesn’t make sense to me – does he mean the distance from one color to another over the range within a color? Golden ratio sounds nice but this needs more explanation.

I like his work, maybe other don’t but he’s an artist with his own philosophy and vision. People can always challenge that with their own works of art.

I agree with “its_art”, I don’t think he had a plain jane HDR in mind. I like the pictures and the mood. If I want realistic looking; and I do sometimes, I would choose another photographer.

It’s art, there’s no “right” way to take HDR images. That’s like saying there’s a right way to paint and if it doesn’t look like what you’re painting then it’s wrong

Too bad he doesnt know how to take proper HDR photos. They are way too saturated and he is using exaggerated values to get unrealistic appearance. Maybe he will learn over time how to use HDR properly.
