Now that Leopard is imminent, I wonder if the visual “inconsistencies” will be dealt with eventually? Even a minor change in perspective will shock the whole ecosystem if they want visual consistency. If this was pre-iPod Apple I’m sure they would.

The fact that M$ needs to issue such a statement speaks volumes. Need to cancel that Hotmail account soon! And what if Google screws me? I’ll probably switch like I did from Yahoo! Mail to Hotmail to Gmail. Isn’t that pretty much the standard?
