Dude, that’s exactly how I use it. In fact, I made a rule that I would not check email on the mac until I read it on the iPod touch. You’d be amazed at how much productivity you gain by limiting trips to Mail.app or gmail.

Great review. I seem to be using the iPod Touch in bed – when I’m about to fall asleep or first thing in the morning. You can use it while lying on your back. Gads I am addicted to the Internet…

I had to jailbreak my touch after upgrading by downgrading and redoing it proper. Twas a pain but well worth the effort since I now have MobileMail.app via wifi. Can’t wait for the SDK so others can build legit apps!

When I first bought the ipod Touch I jail broke it, however, there was a software conflict or the installation was not successful.

I believe by March there will shall be apps made available by Apple for the ipod touch and iphone.
